To participate in Kansas Elite practice (Tuesday, September 1 and after) you need to have a current USA Card. Please renew this prior to attending the practices coming up! We look forward to seeing the Kansas Elite wrestlers at the start of of our regular season (first or second week of November) if you are not starting until then! This card policy also applies to outside wrestlers from other clubs. We currently have around 15-20 outside wrestlers who drop in on occasion.

COACHES!!! If you are due for a background check this year you may want to start the process now. If you wait until November, when the entire country is doing it… you may not be cleared for coaching until December. Please don’t wait! Link Below! We will help anyone needing assistance!

Running a full-time barbecue business, near full-time electrical work and a growing Wrestling club does not give me much time to squeeze in Camp or clinic opportunities for our community. My original two dates I wanted to do this. Camp ended up conflicting with my food business and this is potentially the last opportunity to host a beginner/advanced camp before the regular wrestling season starts. After scheduling this and releasing information I was notified there is a Saturday camp at the Beloit Wrestling Club being ran by an outside organization. Looks like fun and if there’s anyone that was on the fence of which one to go to? Go to both! If you can only make it to one day of our camp, you only have to pay half price ($25).

I completely support anything in ANY community in America that puts forth effort to bring Wrestling to our communities!  At Kansas Elite we are less concerned about where people wrestle than we are that they are at least giving this great sport a try!

At the Kansas Elite Camp our focus is “fun first”. We are looking to help knock the rust off those that may have not wrestled all summer and also expose this sport to many people who have not wrestled before. We have a Fargo qualifier coming in from Hoxie to assist with instruction. (Allison Glenn Nondorf) We will potentially be adding some high school and junior high instructors as well. I find that many times the kids respond better to the local Wrestling legends that they look up to and inspire to be like.

So wherever you choose to have your wrestler participate, just make sure they get in and give it a try! Hope to see some old faces! Excited with the people that have signed up already, quite a few locals and people I haven’t seen in a couple years!  because of space we may be capping the numbers so please make sure to sign up early to make sure you have a spot!

Just added a second session to the rookie camp due to an enormous response! Anyone Wrestling for Kansas Elite that participates in the advanced/beginner camp will be able to use their Camp fee towards their next seasons USA wrestling card! We realize you have a choice in many good wrestling clubs to affiliate with and as a thank you for joining our club we will cover the cost of this USA card if you attend this Camp!

USA WRESTLING CARD RENEWAL NOTICE!

WRESTLERS/COACHES:
- Cards can be renewed starting on August 21
- Current Cards expire August 31 (every year)
- To continue practicing/coaching after August 31, proof of a current card must be provided

COACHES:
- Every year you must renew Coach's USA Card
- Every year you will take a SafeSport Refresher Course
- Every Other Year you will be required to pass a background check

Kansas Elite Rookie Camp! Looking for something to rival screen time for your youngster? A fun activity that wears your young child out while promoting Physical Fitness and Social Interaction? Sign your child up for our Rookie Camp! We are happy to invite those in the Beloit, St. John’s, Lakeside, or Homeschool programs!

Involving athletic movements seen in most sports which include running, jumping, tumbling, etc. the rookie camp is designed to provide a fun physical fitness activity for youngsters while promoting community bonding.  If the first camp works out, we will look at making this a more permanent community opportunity! Please share with friends or family with children that could benefit from this!

*Note: This was just for fun, if you know the actual name of the move that is OK. We are just voting on what we are going to call it in our club. We come up with fun things throughout the off-season to help make the grind a little more manageable.
