Dave McKae has been involved in baseball for 33 years and pitched about 1,000 innings at the collegiate and professional levels. Twice, he was named to the All-Conference First Team during his years with the UC Davis Aggies, setting school records for games pitched in a season and career and combined career wins and saves(34). To date, he remains the only pitcher to strike out 100 or more batters

At just 6 years old, Jack has spent countless hours observing others receiving pitching instruction and lately he has been asking me to find him a catcher so I can coach him “like the other ones.” He has this fearless look about him, whether he is standing up to bat or staring in at the catcher’s signs from the mound. He also claims to throw 7 different pitches, but mostly he likes me to call the other pitches just so he can shake me off and throw his fastball. 🤣🤣
