It was a great week with some excellent ground, despite Mother Natures plans! Thank you to OCD Earthworx for making sure our team was safe at the Siksika Rodeo and Mini Thni Tour Rodeos! They went as far as pumping the water out that morning! Thank you!!
Little Man and Tye Faith qualified for the Indian National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas October! She made two smooth runs and was blessed to win both rodeos!

There some amazing people in this world and we were blessed to meet some this trip! Thank you to DH Ranch and Sonya Dodginghorse for the hospitality and perfect accommodations for our horses while we were between rodeos. They have a really neat program for youth and corporate retreats. Check out their website or social to learn more and Sonya always has great content!!

We took a quick trip into the Rocky Mountains 🏔️
It was so beautiful and we got to see lots of wildlife too! We can’t wait to go back and try some white water rafting! It was a perfect ending to the day with a double rainbow as we were leaving the mountains.

Another fun day with sunshine. Not the run they typically have but still managed to place 3rd in ladies barrels. It has been a good learning experience for these two up here. So glad for this opportunity.

Welcome to rodeo! 😂
Not just drastic change in the arena size, it was also a drastic change in weather…. Even the locals were cold! 🥶 She is a cowgirl, made a nice run and she didn’t even wear her coat, even though they were allowing it.
So proud of this team! On to the next one!

Killam, AB Rodeo. What a good experience for these two. I’m not sure we’ve ever run in a little indoor hockey arena! Overall it was pretty good, they were fortunate to pull a check in the Ladies Barrels. The next rodeo is a big outdoor pen at Gooseberry Lake, should be fun!

Our family has been soaking up the summer, meeting incredible new people, and reconnecting with friends and spending quality time with family! We have also been busy competing and giving Tye Faith new experiences to hone her skills.
