Hello NYL Families,

We are sending out a final reminder to all families that our NYL tagging is this weekend June 6 and June 7. This is a really wonderful and fun way to get our families involved and raise funds for NYL in our community.

We do understand that this is a very FULL weekend for ALL of us. Please kindly remember your coaches, board members and other NYL volunteers have donated MANY hours of their busy schedules, away from families in order for everyone’s children to ensure they play. We are thankful and appreciate your time. We do understand it’s precious.

We still have many spots to fill! Treat your family to a cold beverage, a bite of food or ice cream while supporting NYL!

Hello NYL Families!

It is that time of year again when we get to “Tag” with our teammates! For those of you who don’t know what “tagging” is, it’s when we stand outside of local businesses to collect donations for NYL. This is a really easy and fun way to collect donations for NYL. Remember, we are a Non-profit program. In order to operate and keep tuition down for our athletes, fundraising is really important for our program.

Tagging weekend is June 6th & June 7th this year. Though we understand that everyone has games this weekend, we did our best to work around the game schedules and give options to families to tag on Saturday or Sunday, or both!

This year we have 4 locations that are so kindly offering to host us, here are the following locations:

Aroma Joe’s- North Berwick
Aroma Joe’s- Berwick
Mainley Local Yolks- Berwick
Dairy Delite- Berwick

We are asking families to tag in 1 hour time slots! Here is the fun part, Wear your NYL Swag and create posters & signs to advertise NYL & Tagging, get creative! Bucket’s will be handed to starting time slots and passed to the next to collect money. The last time slot will be asked to hold on to the bucket, or be collected by an NYL board member or coach.

Please sign up for your time slot on our Sign-up Genius, we ask parents to stay with their athletes and supervise meaning NO DROP OFFS ALLOWED on tagging day. All of these local businesses are kindly allowing us to do this, it’s our jobs to uphold respectful behavior that reflects our program.
