🏁 IT’S THAT TIME… OUR LAST RACE OF THE YEAR! 😭🏁

This weekend we’re heading to Du Quoin, Illinois for the Shorey Shootout 2026 to officially close out Cooper’s season!

And this one is going to be HUGE. As of earlier today, there are 177 cars combined! 😳🔥

Cooper will be making another start in Jr. Honda, going up against 20 other racers in his class. After his first Jr. Honda race last weekend, he’s ready to take what he learned and get back after it! 💪

It’s been one heck of a season — wins, wrecks, broken parts, learning, growing, and a whole lot of memories. Now we’ve got ONE MORE WEEKEND to send it! 🏁

So let’s send Cooper off right…

CAN I GET A HELL YEAH, BROTHER?! 😂🤘🏁

LET’S GO COOPER!!

Couldn’t thank our sponsor enough for an incredible season.

🏁 THESE PICTURES SAY IT ALL 🏁

Yesterday didn’t give us the results we wanted, but it definitely gave Cooper some valuable lessons.

This was his Jr. Honda debut, and he went into the day feeling confident and ready to race.

🔥 H1: Started 6th and immediately went to work making passes. After getting around one car, two drivers spun right in front of him on the next lap and Cooper had nowhere to go. He hit pretty hard and somehow hit his head on the steering wheel — still trying to figure that one out. 😬

He wiped the tears away, went back out, and finished 5th. Proud of him for not giving up. ❤️

🏁 Feature: Started 11th, and boy… this was a LONG race compared to what he’s used to! Lots of cautions, but Cooper did a great job avoiding the trouble. He worked his way all the way up to 5th at one point before eventually finishing 10th.

Afterward he came off the track saying, “My arms hurt!” 😂 Definitely a lot more laps than he’s used to!

There’s some work to do mentally and physically, but that’s all part of moving up and learning. The drive this kid has for racing is something special.

Time to regroup, learn from it, and do it all over again next weekend for the last race of the year.

Thank you to all our 2026 sponsors. We appreciate all the support you have gave us this year.

Look at all these rookies!!! All of them did so well this year

🏁🏎️ WOW! LOOK AT ALL OUR NEW & RETURNING ROOKIES! 🏎️🏁

What an incredible year of growth at MSLQMRA – Tri-City Junior Speedway! 💜🧡

2026 brought so many new faces to the track, along with some familiar faces returning from our 2025 rookie class!

Some of these drivers got behind the wheel of a quarter midget for the very first time this year, while others continued building their skills and confidence from last season!

We even had several rookies gain enough experience to move up into the Junior or Senior classes before the 2026 season was over! 🏆

It's been amazing watching these young drivers learn, grow, build friendships, and gain confidence with every lap!

👏 Let's give a HUGE round of applause to all of our new and returning rookies!
We are so proud of how far you've come and can't wait to see what 2027 brings!

🏁 Small Cars. Big Dreams.💜🧡

🏁 RACE RECAP 🏁

Another night in the books!

🔥 H1: Started 1st, fell back to 2nd, and that’s where we finished. 🥈

🔧 Before H2, Dad decided to throw the car on the setup table and check everything again… turns out we were WAY out! 😂 Huge thanks to Tyler and Andy for the help and Brooks Motorsports for letting us use the table and scales!

🔥 H2: Started 5th and finished 2nd! The car was much better, and Cooper looked smoother and more comfortable. 💪

🏁 Feature: Started on the pole, but fell back early. Cooper battled hard but got a little sideways near the end, costing us 3rd. Finished 4th.

Not the finish we wanted, but we learned a lot and made some big improvements throughout the night.

Very proud of how far Cooper has come this season and can’t wait to see what next year brings. ❤️🏁

3 races left… let’s see if we can get this kid ON THE BOX! 🏆🔥
