Race report from round 9 of The New East Coast XC Race Series high voltage.
*Minis in the 90cc 9-11 class little donny had a bad start but kept his head down and pushed his way up into a mid class position and ended theb day 8th in class 20th overall.
*Youth race intermediate 125 class on his 90 had a really good start but later lost his momentum and was only able to get in 2 laps and finished 12th in class 75th overall.
*stacyc race wesley had a good start but had a few minor spills but managed to keep getting back up and pushed for that checkered flag and did just that! He did great either way and had so much fun.
*adult atv vet B 30+ on a XC 400ex ran good had a lousy start but managed to be 3rd into the woods and went to work in the tight sections trying to stay on 2nds rear tires. Made a few adjustments trailside and kept on the lead lap running in 3rd. Ran in 3rd the whole race seen the 7 mile mark on the 4th lap and found a little stump on a downhill that threw me off the quad rolling down the hill and the quad stops right on my chest protector. Should I not had it on could of been fatal but I was able to get the checkered flag and finished 3rd in class 69th overall.
