You’ll note the first picture varies from the rest as evidenced by the jersey color. It was taken last Tuesday, but our fun video was posted and this picture overlooked.
However, the first picture is very important. After every tournament, Coach Aaron breaks down every error—who made it, what happened, and what needs to change. There’s no hiding from mistakes and no passing the blame. Every rep matters, and every player is expected to own theirs.
This isn’t about criticism—it’s about accountability. We study the mistake, correct it, and get better because of it. At this level, we don’t just talk about getting better. We put in the work to make it happen. These moments of accountability are important not only in the game of softball, but in life. Accountability creates growth.
