Jerry Shurbet is the man that began the Birmingham Vipers Organziation. He started it originally for his daughters who played softball.
Jerry created the Vipers with one intention: to do it the right way.

It’s not about money, business, or even wins. It’s about enhancing young, female athletes to compete at the next level.

The Viper Way has remained the same from start to present. Jerry would be proud to see that our organization is still thriving and producing such talented, hard working individuals.

Thank you, Jerry for all of the hard work, time and love you put into the Birmingham Vipers. It’s been 15 years since you left this earth. We know that you’re singing up there with Jesus.

You are dearly missed by all who knew you.

Birmingham Vipers 09 had a solid showing at the PGF Super Select KY Chrome Invitational this weekend. Finished last night on a walk off hit against a very strong and well coached Atlanta Vipers team. Finished with a -2 run differential in 4 games against some of the top tier teams in the nation.
