Did you know that April is Canine Fitness Month?
This celebration tries to bring awareness about obesity and our loyal companions physical needs. Regular exercise also keeps your pets range of motion and core strenght strong, keeps them bright and mentally healthy, reduces behavioral problems and strenghtens the human-animal bond.
What can you do this month to help your pets live a more healthy lifestyle?
1. Go out for a walk! This will also be beneficial for you as the pet parent.
2. Throw a ball, stick or frisbee in a safe environment.
3. Try some fun activities like hiking, swimming, fetch and agility courses.
*If your pet has a medical condition that makes it hard to do the above, we can help keep your pet as strong as possible with low impact exercises. Feel free to reach out with any questions! :)
