Just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for all our coaches do.

Long after the chairs are folded and the field clears out…
they’re still here.

Taking care of what was left behind.
Getting things ready for tomorrow.
Serving without being asked.

No recognition. No reward.
Just doing it because it’s the right thing to do.

So grateful for their hearts, and blessed to see them following the example Coach Clay left behind.

Different gifts. Different talents.
All coming together as one team.

This is a group of young men who show up—for each other, and for something bigger than themselves.

Proud of each and every one.
Honored to be part of this journey.
Blessed to call them HC Angels.

Our HC Angels Retreat has been filled with laughter, full plates, late nights, early mornings, and the kind of memories that remind us why this team is so much more than baseball.

From shared meals around the table… to boys running, playing, and just being kids… to the quiet moments in between—this has been a weekend of connection, joy, and gratitude.

We are so incredibly thankful for every family who gave, contributed, and helped make this weekend possible. Every item, every effort, every small act of generosity came together to create something really special for these boys.

After a full day of hard work and full plates, there’s nothing better than slowing down together—laughing, talking, and just enjoying this time.

These are the moments that matter… the fellowship, the joy, and the memories being made in between it all.

After a full day on the field, nothing hits quite like a good, hearty dinner—BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, and corn on the cob.

These boys have poured it out all day, and it’s such a joy to gather around the table, fill their plates, and watch them laugh, eat, and just be together.

Full hearts, full bellies, and a whole lot of gratitude for this time. 💙💛

After a full morning and some good food, the boys are back at it—laughing, working, and making the most of every moment together.

Sometimes it’s not about what’s on the menu… it’s about who you’re feeding.

Today was simple—sub sandwiches, chips, cookies, yogurt, fruit… but it was full of laughter, full plates, and full hearts.

Thankful for the opportunity to serve these boys. This is more than baseball… it’s family. 💙
