On July 19-21, our chapter officers participated in AGD’s National Conference in Las Vegas, NV. AGD2023 is an opportunity to network with dentists, students, and dental team members at the premier meeting for general dentistry. From networking socials to valuable continuing education and practice management lectures, our officers had a memorable time and look forward to applying this gained knowledge to their time in dental school and beyond! Alex Boulay (President-Elect) and Luke Phillips (Treasurer) had the opportunity to have their research featured at the AGD Scientific Session this year! Their research focused on assessing current literature on Botox usage for TMD, sleep bruxism, and orofacial pain. Alex says, “getting a chance to dive into a topic we were curious about and then present it at a conference was a truly memorable experience.” Nicole Nguyen (President) serves on AGD’s New Dentist, Resident, and Student National Committee in which she helped organize events for the New Dentist Lounge at the AGD2023 conference! She also presented the winners for the 2023 Chapter of the Year and Faculty of the Year Awards.   We are so proud of our leaders for representing our chapter at #AGD2023! 08/01/2023
