Today, members of the Northeast Community YMCA staff proudly performed their civic duty by going out to vote. We believe strong communities are built through service, leadership, and participation, and every voice matters. Thank you to our dedicated staff for setting an example of community involvement and encouraging others to make their voices heard.
Another amazing afternoon of line dancing at the Northeast Community YMCA! The energy, fellowship, and fun continue to grow each week as participants learn new dances, stay active, and enjoy time together in the gymnasium.
Special thanks to Mrs. Tracy L Williams for her outstanding instruction and to County Commissioner Lashunda Scales for helping make this program possible for our community.
Join us every Tuesday through June 9, 2026, at the Northeast Community YMCA, 628 Red Lane Road, Birmingham, AL 35215. Free for YMCA members and only $5 for nonmembers. Come dance, exercise, and have a great time with us!

Another successful food box distribution of the Northeast Community YMCA in the books! Yesterday marked the very first Line Dance Class, and it was an amazing start! 💃🏽🕺🏽
Great energy, great music, and even greater fellowship filled the room. A special thank you to our instructor, Mrs. Tracy L Williams, for leading such a fun and engaging class.
