Cabin Fever Ride

We here at Cabin Fever would like to thank all of you for coming out and making another great year of riding our awesome county roads and adventuring through the beautiful forestry trails in the area.

We truly enjoyed seeing all the bikes and hearing everyone’s stories from the day. The camaraderie was incredible—so much so that the riding almost felt like a bonus.

This year we had riders join us from:
• Missouri
• Arkansas
• Arizona
• Wisconsin
• Illinois
• Iowa
• Nebraska
• Oklahoma
• Kansas
• Tennessee
We also ran one of the routes through the Valley Springs Youth Ranch so the kids could see all the bikes and hand out cold drinks. As my good friend Gregg said, “it was the cherry on top.” Because of their hospitality and involvement, we are proud to announce we will be donating $1,000 to the ranch this year, and we plan to continue supporting them in the future. For that, we sincerely thank you.

Can't stress this enough today, PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF THE SXS'S! If you are running wet w***y, point of no return or bit o this bit of that, keep your eyes open! Stay in your lane around corners and bends. We don't want to see anyone hurt! Please be careful out there and have fun.

We taped off the trail that we are not allowing any bikes on behind the lodge. It was brought to attention just now that some bikes are still riding it from the bottom side. This is not allowed! This is trail on last year's Eminence dual sport rout from karkaghne that leads to county rd 830. Do not ride there! Trail bc-b6

If you are having issues putting 4 out of the 11 tracks into base camp, here is a fix that seems to work. For whatever reason, the garmin zumo xt gpx files are not compatible with base camp. You will need to download Gaia on your phone, send the tracks that won't open to it. Then share the tracks via email to yourself. You then should be able to put them in base camp. If you have a zumo xt, xt2 or xt3, you don't need to do this or use base camp. The xt uses the explore app and the xt2/xt3 uses the tread app. You just need to use either one of those apps instead of base camp. I'll be at the lodge all day Thursday and will help you with it if people are still having issues.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I realize it's a pain but you can thank garmin for that.
