Midwest Speed 13u National Chell/Wagner

The 13U National Ladies closed out 2025 and rang in 2026 together doing what they love most — playing softball! 🥎
Over winter break, the team played 8 games, shared laughs during a Secret Santa gift exchange, and were surprised with some awesome Speed swag from a very generous parent. Thank you, Jamielynn Sparre❤️

The girls now head back into off-season training and won’t take the field together again until June, making this time together even more special. So thankful they were able to spend these moments together over break! 💚🥎

Round 2 of Turkey Trot. Today these ladies played in the 14u Gold Division. They went 3-0 in pool play. They battled hard in the Championship, but fell short by one run. Scarlett hit a three run 💣
today. Now back to off season training, until the Winter Bash Tourney💚🖤🥎

The 13u National ladies took the field today in the High School Open Division Turkey Trot Tournament. They went 3-1 for the day, earning themselves 2nd place 🥈Scarlett Johnson hit her first ever HR 💣

Alliance National Berth ✅
The team traveled to O’Fallon, Illinois, this weekend to compete in the HFL Fall Championships Alliance National Qualifier. The team went 3-1 in the tournament, earning not only a National berth but also a spot in the final 8 in the Championship Bracket, set to start Sunday morning. Unfortunately, all Sunday games were cancelled due to cold weather. These girls were gritty and never quit. The exciting ending to the qualifying game is one this team will not forget! Bottom of the 7th we are up 3-2, one out, tying run on third. A fly ball was hit to RF (Whitney A); the runner tagged, RF threw a perfect throw home, and the runner got tagged out in a pickle! Absolutely amazing! It was such a fun fall season! We can’t wait for next summer! 💚🥎

The girls traveled to St. Louis this past weekend to play in the Team 1 STL Xposure Tournament.

They faced some tough teams from KY, IA, MO, IN & KS — finishing 2-2-1! 🥎

Big shoutout to Lucy Johnson and Ava Haugen who each crushed 2 home runs! 💣💣

As always, the girls had tons of fun together, both on and off the field.💚

The girls had a great weekend at the Perfect Game Showcase, finishing with a 4-1-1 record! Shoutout to Kennedy Robinson and Mia Tu for coming up big at the plate. Kennedy hit her first home run of the season yesterday during pool play. Today, Mia Tu crushed her own first homer — a clutch, go-ahead bomb that helped secure a key win to keep the team alive in bracket play. The team brought energy, focus, and grit all weekend long. We’re proud of the performance and excited to keep the momentum going. Next up: Fall State!

This weekend the 13U National Team competed at the S&C Woodside Wisconsin Dells Qualifier. The girls played up in the 16u Open division. They finished with a 3-2-1 record and earned second place.
The team faced off in the semifinals against a squad that had defeated them on Saturday. This time our girls flipped the script, grinding out a win to advance to the championship.
In the final, the girls went toe-to-toe with Midwest Speed 16U Gold McFarlane, ultimately falling one run short.
