To my friends at NEMMAA Region 2, I would like to say thank you. Hard to imaging that I have been part of the Executive Board for 25yrs. It’s been a great run as Treasurer and although I know you are in good hands, I’ll miss working with the great coordinators and officers from this well established, trusted, and professional organization.

Today, many of the Northeastern Morris Mutual Aid Association/ Morris County Region 2 members, as well as our Mutual Aid partners from Passaic County participated in a water operations drill in an effort to provide improved water rescue services to our region. We covered operational guidelines for Lake, Flood, Dive, and Water based Fire Operations as well as utilizing the Incident Command System and radio interoperability. Many lessons were learned and we will continue to work toward providing improved services to our communities. Thank you to all who participated and a special Thank You to the Antiqe Association for providing Canteen Services, as well as Lincoln Park EMS for standing by.

Training Opportunity!!!!!

Last Night Region 2 held our annual beefsteak training Lecture. We had over 125 firefighters from over multiple fire departments.

We would like to thank Bloomingdale NJ Fire Department for the great hospitality. The beefsteak was amazing like always.

Most importantly we would like to thank Jeremy Donch from National Fire Radio for coming in and giving a nice presentation on bridging the Gap.

On Monday, May 19, Northeastern Morris Mutual Aid Association, Morris County Region 2, Hosted the JCP&L Safety Trailer at the Lincoln Park Fire Department. Thank you to Bob Flynn, Regional External Affairs Representative and his crew for an excellent presentation. Approx 100 Region 2 members attended this presentation.
