When people see me now, they see me practicing a healthy lifestyle, but I haven’t always lived the healthiest of lifestyles.
When I was younger, I didn’t prioritize sleep, gut health, or stress reducing practices. It wasn’t until I had some pretty serious health issues that I began to take notice of the way I was treating my body. Unfortunately, now my uneducated, younger-self practices have caught up with me.
Taking care of your gut is essential at every stage of life.
💚 Diverticulitis is a reminder of how vital it is to prioritize gut health with everyday practices. Regular, healthy bowel movements, plenty of sleep, a colorful diet rich in fruits and vegetables, movement, and protein support your digestive system and overall well-being.
It is necessary to make choices that nourish our bodies from the inside out—because a healthy gut is the foundation for a healthy life. 🌱
