With heavy heart I notify clients and friend of the passing of my co worker, Cindy Barrow. We worked together for over 30 years and she will be missed. May she rest in peace and no longer be in pain.
To all our Chicago Clients and Past Employee, Brian, who loves everything Chicago Congratulations and best of luck as you move forward.
Welcome back Steve. We are thrilled to have you back as part of our crew.
Shout out to Travis for doing a great job helping with the investigative testing and documentation on a current job at the lab. A few extra bucks will be coming your way and well deserved. Thank you.
It has been a busy summer here at the lab. We have done more field testing at SAC Federal Credit Union, Alegent Creighton Health, MICDS, and some more mock up testing at VA Jefferson Barracks. As the test chambers a the lab continue to fill we got the airplane engine up and running to do some testing on the CAD panel system. By far the most exciting tests we have done so far this summer are the impact tests for the University of Iowa's Children's Hospital. I hope to put video of it up soon.
I would like to start this post by introducing myself. My name is Zachary Mette and I am working here at the lab as an intern for the summer. I am entering my fourth year at Drury University where I study Architecture. Hopefully now it wont be so long in-between posts. Since I've been working here, we have been performing on site testing on several projects: SEMO, VA in Denver, Mark Twain Hall Columbia, University of Nebraska Lincoln, The Gavilon Hall in Omaha, Community South Cancer in Indianapolis, the Common Wealth Emergency Operations Center in Kentucky, and a new casino in Montgomery Alabama. We have also done some mock-up testing at MICDS and VA Jefferson Barracks. The laboratory chambers are filling up as well and I'll update those in the next post.

First I would like to thank our clients for their cards, prayers, and thoughts for my mother's passing last week. Both the lab and field have been busy with testing for East Moline Glass on Watterson Tower and Multi-Mogal, testing for McCarthy in Oakridge, Edmonds, Oklahoma, Springfield, Missouri and Mount Vernon, Illinois testing for Pinnacle on the Clayton Police Station. We recently finished all the testing on the MU Hospital in Columbia for Hilboldt Curtain Wall and Seadorf Masonry. The remainder of summer and fall will remain busy and hopefully will be more consistent with our updates.
Just a quick "Thank You" to The Colorado Glazing Contractors Association for the invitation to speak to the group and their hospitality this week
