Wednesday May 27th AM Lessons Canceled.

We will make the call for PM classes at noon.

Due to the extreme cold water temp in the South Pool lesson are canceled for today, 5/26.

Ever wonder why we require swim caps??

At SHINE Swim Academy, swim caps are required for swimmers with hair that is 4 inches or longer. Swim caps do more than just keep hair dry! They help keep hair out of swimmers’ eyes and faces, improve head position in the water, keep hair out of the pool and help prepare swimmers for swim team.

Wearing a swim cap helps our swimmers stay focused, comfortable, and successful during swim lessons! 🏊

Need a swim cap?

We have both silicone and latex swim caps available for purchase, find a deck person to purchase one the next time your swimmer has lessons.

Lessons are canceled for tonight as we wait for the temp and chemicals to stabilize. We are hopeful everything is a go for lessons tomorrow morning.

We are also working on “our” pool! Cleaning not only inside the pool but the deck as well. We even have our first bench to test out.

We hope to have an update on “our” pool very soon. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

New swimmer testing registration will open tomorrow (5/15/26) at noon. Tests will be held on Saturday, May 23rd from 9:00am till noon. Spots will be limited. Link to register: https://www.shineswimacademy.com/page/class-registration
