As many of you know, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, struck St. Elizabeth, Jamaica this October, leaving a path of destruction unlike anything their community has ever experienced. Homes have been devastated, and countless families are struggling to rebuild their lives.
One of those families is that of NCWHS Coach Val Walker. His mother, Vennette Walker, has lost most of the roof of her home. Currently, it's only protected by a blue tarp, and she needs a full roof replacement to ensure her home is safe and livable once more.
If you feel moved to help, please consider donating to support these recovery efforts using the GoFundMe link below.

What a Season for the Normal West Wildcats!
The Wildcats wrapped up the 2025 season with an impressive 17-5-2 record being named 2A Regional Champions and making it to the Sectional Finals!
In a tense matchup against the Washington Panthers, things got tricky when we went down a player due to a red card just 15 minutes in. But our team showed incredible grit and didn’t let playing down a man hold them back.
With hard work and determination, the Wildcats kept the game scoreless through the remaining 65 minutes of regulation and the first 10 minutes of overtime. Unfortunately, with less than 2 minutes left, the Panthers scored, leading to a tough loss.
We’re so proud of how hard everyone fought this season! A huge thank you to our amazing senior players. You will be missed! We can’t wait to see the rest of the squad back on the field next year.
