Our pitcher of the game was Kyler, going 4 innings of 1 hit baseball walking 2 and striking out 7 to earn the W.

We had 3 Hitters of the game, Payne kept his hot streak alive going 3-3 with a double and 2 runs with 1 rbi, Michael drove in 3 rbis tonight and Luke went 2-3 with a double and scoring a run.

Our Pitcher of the game goes out to JJ, he came in relief and was a bulldog going 3 innings only giving scattering 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 4!

We had the bats going! Multiple kids had hits. Dakota lead off the game with a triple and went 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 rbis, Sam kept his 🔥🔥 going driving in 2 rbis, Payne keep swinging good going 3-3 with 2 rbis, Owen drive the ball all over going 2-2 with 2 doubles, Michael drove the ball well driving in 2 as well! Luke had the 💣💣💣 to left to bust open the game!

MC Express Black 12U gets the 13-4 win over the Midwest Swamp Donkeys! ⚾️🔥

Big bats all around for the Express offense multiple kids had multiple hits on the day! Luke delivered the big swing of the day, launching a bomb to left that blew the game open! 💣

JJ was outstanding on the mound in relief, throwing 3 strong innings while striking out 4 and shutting things down for the Express.

Another great team win with aggressive base running, solid defense, and clutch hitting all game long.

After 6 weeks of the Sangamon Valley Baseball League, our 12U MC Express Black squad finds themselves TIED FOR FIRST place! ⚾️🖤🤍

This group continues to show up every week ready to compete, improve, and battle together. The boys have earned every bit of this spot with tough baseball, and big moments.

Still a lot of baseball left to play, but we’re proud of the work these players have put in to get here. Time to keep pushing. 👊

We had some hitting going on tonight! Luke was 2-2 tonight with 2 rbi and 3 runs scored! Harrison got in on the hit parade going 2-2 with 2 runs scored and an rbi. Michael kept his hot streak alive since coming back from injury going 2-2 with 3 rbis. Tanner and Dakota paced us at the top with Tanner going 2-2 with 3 runs and 1 rbi, and Dakota going 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 rbis.

Sam was our Pitcher of the night, starting his first game on the year and earning the Win! He threw 3 innings giving up 3 hits, 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. HE gave up 5 runs but all unearned. Way to go!!

There’s always something special about seeing your team name in the USSSA State Rankings as a player. The boys definitely had a little extra pep in their step at practice today!

After a strong weekend against some great competition, 12U MC Express Black has earned the #18 spot in this week’s Illinois USSSA AA Power Rankings. Proud of the way these boys continue to compete, work, and grow together.
