After erasing a 3-0 series deficit with back-to-back victories at Grossinger Motors Arena, the Bloomington Bison can force Game 7 with a win tonight.
The Bison head to Toledo for Game 6 after finally solving problems that defined the first three losses: early goals, penalties and a lack of sustained pressure. Physical play has slowed the Walleye, and Dryden McKay has handled the rest, including 38 saves in Game 5 while facing far more shots (39) than his teammates produced (14).
Sunday’s game offers a simple requirement with complicated ex*****on: repeat what worked, in a louder building.
A team-hosted watch party begins at 3 p.m. at Rob Dob's Restaurant & Bar.

The Bloomington Bison are getting their first-ever home playoff game, but it comes with some added pressure.
They’re down 2-0 in the series with Toledo after a 4-1 and 4-3 start on the road, and the Walleye have controlled the shot count 70-45. Still, Bloomington pushed back Saturday with two goals from Shane Ott and 36 saves from Dryden McKay to keep it close.
Now, head coach Phillip Barski has to decide whether to stick with McKay or try Callum Tung in his first pro playoff game.
Game 3 is at 7 p.m. Monday. A win keeps the series alive heading into Wednesday's Game 4, also at Grossinger Motors Arena.
