"Concussions have become an epidemic in the United States, with millions of mild traumatic brain injuries happening each year. The purpose of National Concussion Awareness Day is to....[raise] awareness of the importance of recognizing a concussion, treating it appropriately and supporting the injured we can positively impact lives across the country. "

Malört and Savior Hockey Club is dedicated to hockey that is both fun AND SAFE. We've collaborated with an incredible tattoo artist ( on instagram) to bring you merch with the friendliest of reminders:💥HANDS OFF MY GOALIE💥

A portion of the proceeds from these pieces will be going toward the Concussion & CTE Foundation. The fundraising store will be open for a month, with Nov 1st the last day to submit an order

We know most of you are out there missing at least one of these: you can work on filling the gaps in your collection and help our community at the same time!!

Volunteer at least THREE times with us this season and enter a chance to win a jersey or hoodie (custom name + number) towards the end of the spring.

If you're looking to get a jump start, Central Illinois Courage - Special Hockey practices start THIS SUNDAY, and we have Million Meal Pack coming up the following weekend (see previous post for more info on registering for that!)

If you have an idea for community service or a nonprofit you would like us to partner with, we are always looking for more connections!
