The team will play this Monday, 4:00pm, at Millikin University, in the Super-Sectional game. ⚜️🥎

Tomorrow, we hit the field in Lincoln for the Welcome Back Fastpitch Tournament and officially kick off our summer schedule! The girls are ready for a summer filled with softball, sunshine, memories, and plenty of wins. 🩵🦏

Southside Fastpitch Flippin’ Bats Recap:

It wasn’t the finish we were looking for, but Team Sanchez battled all weekend and finished Top 4 out of 16 teams, competing toe-to-toe with some of the strongest programs in the Chicago area and proving we belong in that level of competition. 💪Our only loss came against the eventual tournament champions after tying them in pool play.

Defensively, we put together several solid games of softball and handled pressure well despite the windy and wet conditions.💨☔️In the circle, our pitchers competed and gave us a chance in every game.💥 At the plate, the lineup showed toughness and fought in tight spots.🔥

Having our high school players back this weekend was also a highlight! 🩵🦏

While we didn’t get the result we wanted, this weekend gave us more to build on heading into our next tournament.🥎
