What an incredible day of Taekwondo, competition, teamwork, and community!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s Southern Ohio Fall Games such a success! Events like this simply could not happen without so many people giving their time, energy, and enthusiasm.

👏 To our competitors: We are so proud of the hard work, courage, and sportsmanship you brought to the floor. Whether you went home with a medal or a new goal to work toward, you should be proud of stepping out there and competing!

❤️ To our volunteers and judges: Thank you for the countless ways you helped throughout the day. Your dedication keeps our tournaments running smoothly and gives our athletes an opportunity to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.

And to all of the families and spectators who filled Courts for Sports with encouragement and excitement, thank you for supporting our athletes and our Taekwondo community!

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who was part of the 2026 Southern Ohio Fall Games. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

🥋 Want to help us get tournament-ready? Join us at Courts 4 Sports at 5:00 PM to help with setup. Many hands make quick work, and we appreciate everyone who can lend a hand!

🥋 September Black Belt Class Reminder!

Our next UTA Black Belt Class is coming up this Thursday, September 24th from 7:00–8:30 PM.

Black Belt Classes are an important opportunity to train together, sharpen technique, and continue growing as martial artists and leaders within the UTA.

📍 Thursday, September 24th
⏰ 7:00–8:30 PM

Please note: There will be no regularly scheduled Adult Class that evening.

If you are unable to attend Black Belt Class, please contact us as soon as possible.

📢 Important Info for This Weekend’s Testing! 📢

Please review the testing times for this weekend's UTA Promotion Tests:

Color Belt Test Start Time: 10:00 AM

White Belt Students should arrive no later than 9:45 AM

Please note:

🥋There will be no regularly scheduled Taekwondo classes this weekend due to testing.

🥋Regular classes will resume on Monday, September 14th.

🥋We invite you to come watch the UTA Color Belt Test, but please be respectful and quiet during testing.

Ahn Taekwondo Institute will be closed September 5th – 7th for Labor Day weekend.

We will return to our normal class schedule on Tuesday, September 8th.

One month until our next Color Belt Test!

Our next UTA Color Belt Test will be held on Saturday, September 12. Now is the time to train consistently, practice your required material, and complete any remaining attendance or stripe requirements.

Students should continue working on:

🥋 One-steps / Fighting Combinations
🥋 Breaking requirements
🥋 Terminology and Grandmaster Ahn facts
🥋 Focus, confidence, and strong Taekwondo spirit
