What an incredible night for our MO 942 AFJROTC Color Guard as they proudly represented our unit at the Kansas City Royals game! 🇺🇸

Our cadets had the honor of presenting the colors and representing BSHS, our community, and our nation on one of Kansas City’s biggest stages.

Moments like this are about more than just carrying the colors—they’re about discipline, teamwork, leadership, and pride in serving something bigger than yourself.

We couldn’t be more proud of these cadets! 👏🇺🇸

The first week of school was a great start for MO-942 AFJROTC. Cadets focused on completing required paperwork, addressing uniform issues, and ensuring all records were up to date. We also reviewed expectations for the school year and discussed upcoming AFJROTC events and opportunities for involvement.
As new and returning cadets settled into their routines, emphasis was placed on organization, accountability, and preparing for a successful year ahead. We are excited to see our cadets grow as leaders and represent MO-942 with pride throughout the school year.

MO-942 AFJROTC is ready to kick off an incredible new school year! We are excited to welcome our new cadets to the family and welcome back our returning cadets as we get ready for another year of discipline, leadership, teamwork, service, and excellence.

To our new cadets: Welcome to the team! You are joining something bigger than yourself, and we can’t wait to see how far you’ll go.

EMPLOYMENT - ENROLLMENT - ENLISTMENT

Parents/Students,

Our AFJROTC staff cadets will be hosting a orientation on BSHS campus in our classroom for all new students to the program. It will be an opportunity for us to issue out uniforms and allow students to learn about JROTC from the upperclassman/staff cadets. See below for details:

Who: All inbound AFJROTC students new to the program.
What: Introduction to AFJROTC from staff cadets, learning about program requirements, drill, and uniform wear/issue uniform
When: Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13th from 9am-230pm. Lunch provided. Make up day is Friday August 14th.
Where: BSHS campus in room 503, students can entire building SW side (D27 doors) near Peve Stadium Entrance.
*Students can wear athletic clothing and please bring water source and no cost for event.

We ask that you RSVP by email, to give our staff a head count and we would like students to be present for 2 days to cover all the information and work on getting uniforms sized/issued.
