STEAL MY SEQUENCE 💕🤸‍♀️
This one was built around front walkovers — but instead of just drilling them over and over across the mat, we found different ways to work them into a sequence.
✨ Handstand split → front walkover
✨ Handstand → chest roll
✨ Press Arabian handstand from knees → front walkover
✨ Forearm cartwheel → knees
✨ Back walkover
✨ Ball change → side aerial
She’s still getting the repetition she needs, but now we’re also working on lines, transitions, control, creativity and confidence.
I love building sequences like this with my dancers because repetition doesn’t always have to look repetitive. We can work on the same skill again and again while challenging them to find new ways in, new ways out, and make everything CONNECT.
Save this one and steal the sequence for your next acro class! 💗

Competition season shouldn’t replace training season. 👏
Cleaning choreography matters. Spacing matters. Rehearsal matters.
But if technique classes are repeatedly cancelled to rehearse competition dances, what happens to the technique those dancers are expected to perform in those dances?
Aerials don’t get cleaner from running the routine again.
Turns don’t become more consistent.
Flexibility doesn’t improve.
Strength doesn’t magically appear.
Those things come from consistent training.
There absolutely comes a time when dances need to be cleaned and rehearsed — but technique shouldn’t be the first thing sacrificed every time competition gets closer.
Because when the choreography is gone at the end of the season, the training is what stays with the dancer.
Strong dancers aren’t built by rehearsing one routine over and over.
They’re built in the classes that develop what they can do next.
Parents and teachers — have you seen technique classes regularly replaced by competition rehearsals? 👇Q

Outside training isn’t disloyalty. 👏
There’s a difference between having a legitimate concern about how or where a dancer is training — and making a dancer fear consequences simply because they chose to learn from someone else.
No teacher can be an expert in everything. No studio needs to provide everything.
Great educators recognize when another qualified professional can add something valuable to a dancer’s education. Great studios create relationships strong enough that learning elsewhere isn’t viewed as a threat.
Because ultimately, this should be about the dancer’s growth — not ownership, territory, or ego.
A dancer can love their studio, respect their teachers AND learn from other educators.
Those things are not mutually exclusive.
💗 Save this if you agree.
💬 Parents, dancers, teachers & studio owners — how does your studio approach outside training?

15 studios. One incredible summer. 💗
This summer, I had the opportunity to teach intensives at 15 different studios across South Florida — and looking back at all of these clips, I’m incredibly grateful.
Thank you to every studio owner and teacher who invited me into your space and trusted me to work with your dancers. And thank you to every dancer who showed up ready to learn, work, ask questions, try something new, and sometimes completely rethink the way they approach a skill. 😂
One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to walk into so many different training environments, meet dancers from all over South Florida, and share the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career.
Different studios. Different dancers. Different goals.
But the same thing everywhere: dancers who want to learn and educators who want to give them more opportunities to grow.
I don’t take that trust lightly.
Thank you for an amazing summer, South Florida. 🩷
To all 15 studios — thank you for having me. I hope to see you again next summer!

STEAL THIS ACRO SEQUENCE ✨
One-hand close-hand cartwheel to knees → sweep back walkover → front walkover → handstand to chest roll → headstand cartwheel to standing.
One of my favorite ways to review skills? Put them into a sequence.
Sequences give dancers the opportunity to work through different transition options while reviewing multiple areas of their acro training all at once — limbering, balancing, tumbling, control and technique.
Instead of practicing every skill in isolation, dancers have to think about how they get into it, how they get out of it, and how they connect it to what comes next.
And sometimes, a transition becomes just as important as the skill itself.
Save this one and steal it for your next acro class! 🖤

✨ WELCOME TO THE NEW ACRO TRAINING CENTER! ✨

I’ve been waiting to share this one. 🥹

What started with a vision to create a place where dancers could receive specialized, individualized acro training has grown into something bigger than I ever could have imagined — and we officially have a new home. 🖤

First, the biggest thank you to my amazing husband, Jason. He worked nonstop to help me turn this space around and make it move-in ready in less than a week. Every wall painted, thing moved, problem solved and late night spent here helped make this possible. I truly could not have done it without him. ❤️

And to every parent who has trusted me with their dancer over the last few years — thank you. Your support, referrals and trust in my training and methods are the reason Acro Training Center has been able to grow into a space where I can offer even more to our dancers.

Thank you as well to The Movement Complex for giving Acro Training Center a home over the past eight months while I worked toward this next chapter. 🤍

And now… we’re just getting started.

✨ Private training
✨ More room to train
✨ Specialty workshops
✨ Guest educators & events
✨ Strength, flexibility, tumbling & more

Private sessions are available to book now, and keep your eyes here because there are some VERY exciting things coming to this space in the near future. 👀

📍 140 NW 16th Street, Boca Raton
