When I want to go to a beach or a park, my first instinct is to invite a friend. It’s nice to have a good company. But occasionally I pause and think that maybe today I need to be by myself, to let my thoughts in. And let them out too. To just be. To breathe intentionally and enjoy a serene view, quietly.
The effect of having some of this quality time is always gratifying.

Whether you call it “fall” or “autumn” it’s here all around and everything screams pumpkin 🎃
These began gluten-free cookies were quickly made by mixing pumpkin purée, oats, condensed oatmilk, cassava and sorghum flour, flax “egg”, pecans and dark chocolate chips. Spices: cinnamon, cardamom, allspice. Don’t ask about measurements - all “by eye” as my grandma used to say.

Ever since chef made this salad during our visit in NY I’ve been wanting to recreate it. Finally found some kohlrabi and yay.
This salad is so fresh and crunchy!
A large bowl has 2 medium kohlrabi, 1 fennel, a few radishes, 3 stalks of celery, dill, a lot of squeezed lemon and sea salt.
A nutritious hub!

Have you ever noticed a weird smell of your p*e after eating asparagus? You’re not alone - and it’s totally normal!
