I’m grateful to share that I’ve earned my ACC credential with the ICF. This journey has stretched me in all the right ways, and I’m thankful for the clients, mentors, and colleagues who helped me grow into the coach I’m becoming.

Friday reflections from a coach.

Sometimes the best words are, ‘I don’t know what to say, but I’m here.’

We often worry about saying the “wrong” thing. But presence matters more than perfect words.

Silence with love is more healing than silence with avoidance.

Friday reflections from a coach.

The quietest person in the room may be carrying the heaviest grief.

Grief isn’t always visible. Many people mask their emotions at work to appear “professional,” which can mean their colleagues never see the depth of their struggle.

Performance can be misleading. Someone who looks like they’re “holding it together” may be using every ounce of energy just to get through the day — productivity doesn’t always equal well-being.

Compassion requires attentiveness. By slowing down, noticing subtle shifts (like withdrawal, fatigue, or quietness), and offering gentle check-ins, workplaces can create safer spaces for hidden grief to be acknowledged.

What might we notice differently if we assumed others are carrying invisible grief?

The Myth of “Moving On”

Grief doesn’t just vanish. We learn to live alongside it, and sometimes we even grow stronger because of it. Moving forward doesn’t mean leaving our loved one behind.

What has helped you find your own way of moving forward while still holding on to love?

Friday Reflections from a Coach

Grief doesn’t stay at home. It walks into the workplace with us, even when we try to hide it. Grief follows us everywhere — even into our meetings, our inboxes, and our coffee breaks. Just because someone looks “okay” at work doesn’t mean they aren’t carrying heartbreak inside.

Have you ever had to carry grief into your workday? What helped you get through it?

Friday Reflections from a Coach

Holding space doesn’t require perfection.
It requires presence.

As a coach, I’ve learned that being a safe place for someone doesn’t mean I always feel steady myself. Some days, I carry my own heaviness too.

But I’ve also learned this: You can be human and grounded. Messy yet deeply supportive.

What makes me a good coach isn’t that I have everything figured out. It’s that I’ve learned how to sit with what’s hard—without turning away.

I know how to breathe in uncertainty. I know how to stay. This is the kind of space I offer others—not from perfection, but from practice.

If you’re longing for someone who won’t rush you, fix you, or fear your feelings, I’d be honored to hold that kind of space for you!!

Friday Reflections from a Coach

Sometimes people come to coaching looking for answers.

I understand that. Life can feel unbearably complex when you’re in pain, and it’s tempting to want someone to just tell you what to do. But here's the honest truth: I don’t have all the answers. And I don’t pretend to.

My role isn’t to fix, direct, or advise but to walk beside you—with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your inner wisdom. Most of the time, you already know. You just need someone safe enough to say it out loud to.

Someone who listens without trying to rescue you. Someone who believes in your capacity to move forward, even when you don’t.

That’s what I offer. Not certainty—but presence.

If that sounds like what you need, I’d love to hear from you.

Friday Reflections from a Coach

Some Fridays feel heavy.

Not because anything is wrong—but because something sacred is stirring. Today, sadness is with me. Not in a dramatic way—just a quiet, familiar presence that reminds me: sadness isn’t a problem to solve. It’s a part of life asking to be witnessed.

As a grief and life coach, people often think I must be endlessly strong or endlessly healed. But here’s the truth: Sadness is one of my greatest teachers. When it visits, I don’t push it away. I listen. I slow down. I remember that healing isn’t about fixing feelings—it’s about making space for them, honoring what they carry, and walking forward with gentleness.

This is the kind of work I do with my clients. We don’t rush. We don’t “get over it.” We move through it—together.

If this Friday finds you feeling tender, I see you. And if you're longing for a companion on your journey—someone who can walk beside you with depth, honesty, and care—I’m here.

You’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Feel free to reach out or send me a message. I’d be honored to walk with you.

Grieving is Sacred Ground!

Grief is not a problem to solve.

It’s a sacred part of being human — painful, yes, but also filled with meaning. Coaching in grief is about creating a space where that sacred work can happen. No deadlines. No pretending.
Just presence, week after week.

Grief invites you to become someone new. Not by forgetting, but by integrating. Not by "getting over it," but by carrying it differently.

Coaching helps you find your way through — without rushing the journey. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Reach out if you’d like to explore coaching.
