A couple exercises professional dancer is working on
Dancers put their spines in all sorts of wacky positions so we might as well develop some resilience in those positions. We should apply the same principles to core training that we use on the rest of the body, i.e. challenging resistance through a relatively full range of motion. (These loads aren’t super challenging for her but this is her first time doing these exercises). Doing planks or carrying kettlebells around have their time and place but they probably aren’t doing a whole lot for you if you are already doing heavy deadlifts, squats, lunges, etc.
