We set a goal for all the players in the program to get to 10,000 makes by the end of the summer and 100,000 makes as a program. Here are the current leaders in our Green Light Shooting Challenge.

The Boone Boys Basketball Club summer registration is still open on our website:

You can visit the website to register your son and see the summer basketball opportunities. When you register on-line it will give you the option to pay on-line, by check or apply for a scholarship. If you are paying online, after you register, you will need to click on the pay on-line drop down menu and select what you are paying for.

If you are wanting to pay by check you can still register on the website. You can then just send a check with your son on the first day of whatever activities he signed up for. Also attached is a printable registration form if you are not able to to register on-line. We do encourage you to register on-line if possible.

Note: All grades listed are for the incoming grade level. Example: 7th grade is for an INCOMING 7th grader.

Note: The Little Toreador Boys Basketball Camp for any incoming 2nd-4th grader is coming up next week June 15th-17th from 11:30-1:00 pm @ the high school.

Congrats to Landon signing to play at BV next year! Looking forward to seeing you play.

This year the Boone Basketball Club was looking to grow the travel ball side for the boys in our youth program. The club really wanted to target players that were looking to grow in a more competitive atmosphere. We still offered our normal 3rd-6th grade rec season from October-January. But for the first time, the Boone Basketball Club held tryouts for 3rd-8th grade travel teams. Each grade level had one team and there were 10 players selected to play on each team.

We started practicing in the middle of October and they played and practiced through the end of February. All the groups practiced twice as much as they played. Every team played a lot of basketball and we saw tremendous growth from all the teams.

Thanks to all the coaches: Jaclyn Tungesvik, Gabe Peasley, Josh Schnuelle, Alex Sturtz, Mark Hueton, Jesse Klatt, Cory Thilges, Brad Winter and Jeremy Pritchard who put in a ton of time to help develop and grow the players and teams.

We are extremely excited about this side of the Boone Basketball Club moving forward and getting the youth playing competitive basketball at a young age.
