Gennaro is joining our faculty as an Intermediate and Advanced Ballet teacher and choreographer for the 2026-2027 dance season! He brings a vast knowledge of ballet styles and techniques to Mass Motion after studying with various schools throughout Europe before moving to the United States as a Principal Dancer. We are absolutely thrilled to have his energy, passion, and expertise in the studio this year!

She brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to the studio, holding a BA in Dance and Performing Arts from Keene State College. Amanda loves working with dancers of all ages and specializes in a wide variety of styles. We are absolutely thrilled to have her energy, passion, and expertise in the studios this year!

📣 AUGUST INTENSIVE FACULTY INTRODUCTION
Tony Tucker is a dancer, choreographer, performer, and educator. After discovering a love for dance while attending Boston University’s summer dance program “Reach,” he joined forces with J.S. Fusement and started training more passionately in hip hop, Haitian folklore, and jazz dance. He now performs as a guest in numerous companies in Boston. Tony continues his education by attending classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and pas de deux. He is a dedicated dancer and a talented choreographer. As a teacher, he is adored by students all over Massachusetts and shares his gift of dance & love of the art form in every way he can. We are so excited to have Tony back at Mass Motion!

📣 AUGUST INTENSIVE FACULTY INTRODUCTION
Alyssa Sullivan is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator currently performing as a company member with NSquared Dance Company. She began her dance training at Mass Motion Dance North, where she developed a strong foundation in a variety of dance styles. She later joined Aurora Borealis Dance Company under the direction of Katie Pustizzi, where she focused on contemporary dance and improvisation. Alyssa continued her training at Adelphi University, studying Ballet and Modern Dance and further developing her artistry, technique, and choreographic voice. Her choreography has been performed by BoSoma Dance Company, BoSoma Youth Company and performed at Liquid Spine BYCATCH as a community spotlight. As both a performer and choreographer, Alyssa is passionate about creating meaningful movement, exploring individuality and musicality, and using dance as a form of storytelling and connection. We’re thrilled to have Alyssa join us at our August Intensive!

📣 AUGUST INTENSIVE FACULTY INTRODUCTION
Spencer Keith was born in Romania and raised in Honolulu, HI. He received his training at Academie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace, Woodbury Ballet and Hawaii State Ballet and was taught by instructors Randyl Errica, Marika Besobrasova and John Landovsky. In 2008 Spencer was invited to participate in the Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s Gala performance in Moscow, Russia. He was awarded a gold medal for pas de deux in the Connecticut Classic Competition in 2011 and a silver medal for variation in 2012. Spencer danced with José Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 2011-2018 and continues to dance and teach for many schools in the New England area. We’re thrilled to have Spencer join us at our August Intensive!

📣 AUGUST INTENSIVE FACULTY INTRODUCTION
Miss JoJo received her education and training from Dean College and the University of Massachusetts Boston studying Dance and Business Management, with a Masters of Dance in the works at Montclair State University. Throughout life, Mrs. JoJo has been a part of many cabarets, musicals, step teams, and more. She currently teaches for the Dance Program at Holy Cross and Salem State University and also is the Director of their Hip Hop Ensemble. Joanne is the Founder and Executive Artistic Director of Afmohip, focusing on Hip Hop, African Diaspora, and Modern. She is also the lead in a Haitian folklore dance troupe known as Arc-en-ciel, focusing in Afro Haitian/West African, hip hop, modern, tap and jazz. Previously she has been a part of a Haitian folkloric and contemporary-infused dance, “Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE) Dance Company”, an Urban Hip Hop based crew, “Crewnex” and a Hip Hop Company known as “Street Hype.” Joanne has been featured in movies and has performed for major events and venues such as the Embassy in Washington, DC, Haitian Movie Awards, World of Dance, Hairspray the musical, José Mateo Ballet Theatre Annual Dance for World Community Festival, Boston City Hall, The Boston Contemporary Dance Festival at the Paramount Center in Boston, Annual Haitian Fund Conference, and many more. Today she performs worldwide with a drive to energize a whole atmosphere with high energy. We’re so excited to have Miss JoJo at our August Intensive!

📣 AUGUST INTENSIVE FACULTY INTRODUCTION
First up is Hannah Shihdanian! Hannah has worked with Broadway directors and choreographers, and has performed in Boston, NYC, Maine, and Texas. She has her degree in Theatre Performance from The University of Vermont, and has choreographed over 50 stage productions for youth theatres, community theatres, and professional theatres. Locally, she has performed with the A.R.T., Lyric Stage Boston, Reagle Music Theatre, Greater Boston Stage Company, The Umbrella Stage Company and others. Hannah is the Founder and Director of Hannah’s Dance Community (HDC) where she hosts dance fitness classes, choreography workshops, and community events for adults, kids and families! Teaching is her passion and she is thrilled to work with the talented students of Mass Motion! We can’t wait to have Miss Hannah at our August Intensive!
