A huge thank you to Alex Guerrieri for coming to speak with us today! Alex brought Passive House principles to life, walking us through everything from state-wide energy code adoption in Massachusetts to the nitty-gritty of field verification in multifamily projects. Learning about air-tightness standards, thermal bridging, and blower door testing from someone doing this work in the real world was truly invaluable. We’re so grateful for your time and expertise, Alex!

We had the opportunity to learn from Leonard Bradley Jr. who is a principal at DiPrete Engineering, who shared insights from many of the firm’s projects and his professional journey in the field. The discussion covered key aspects of site and infrastructure design including traffic planning, fire safety, lighting, parking design, landscaping, and stormwater management.

It was really interesting to see how all these elements come together in real-world engineering projects to create safe, functional, and sustainable spaces for communities. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us!
