Boston, MA people organizing clean and fun games. Mainly flag football and basketball. We're here to organize sports, mainly basketball and football.
We get a group together to organize pick-up games around the Boston area. Looking into leagues as well as day tournaments. Let us know if you are interested in joining and we will let you know if there are open spots. Members can post games that you want to organize. While we do advocate clean play and good sportsmanship, injuries could happen as a result of playing sports. We are not liable/responsible for injuries that occur during these events. General information
Currently organizing flag football games every Saturday in Quincy, MA. Typically, 16-30 people show up. Some leave early and some arrive late. The number of people at the field would dictate how many people would play on the field and the number of subs. Everyone will get a chance to play w/ each team rotating players each series. We have played 7 on 7 with 1-2 subs, 8 on 8 with 1-2 subs, and 9 on 9 1-3 subs.
GENERAL RULES
Flag Guarding & Stiff Arm
No flag guarding. You can not block other players from grabbing your flag. You can juke, spin, and stiff arm (to the chest or shoulders). No stiff arming any other body parts (face, head, arms, hands, etc..)
Blocking & Pass Rushing
Hand blocks only. No using shoulders. No blocking below the waist. No using shoulders on passrush.
Start Of Game
2 Captains will pick teams when enough players show up, typically 14. Each team will assign their players rotation numbers. Players are rotated (subbed in and out) according to their rotation numbers.
