FIREWORKS POSTPONED TIL SUNDAY. 🎆🎇

At the request of American Thunder, fireworks will not be held Saturday night, but will be held on Sunday night, again at sundown and again at Manchester Field.

Don't forget Rotary's Pancake Breakfast tomorrow at the Hope Christian Church on Mount Vernon Street. Breakfast starts early and we'll go until there are no pancakes left. Therefore we need lots of people to eat pancakes!

Town day block party is going on as we speak! Singing and dancing, vintage t-shirts for sale as well as from Lucia's restaurant, we have Italian ice and Pizza!

Vintage Wi******er Town Day t-shirts will be on sale both at the Kids Block Party tonight at 6:00 p.m. and tomorrow during Town Day at the information booth.

Shirts are available from miscellaneous years and in miscellaneous sizes. So please come by and pick your favorite.

Shirts are $5 each or two for $9.99. not only will this help Town Day financially, but it will help clean out Allan's basement. 👕

They are also good for waxing your car. If anyone does that anymore.

Wi******er's annual Town Day is tomorrow starting at 9:00 a.m..

Town Day has hundreds of local exhibitors, on car free streets right downtown on Main, Mount Vernon St and Thompson Streets as well as the Town Hall parking lot.

Lots of goodies, food, and your favorite businesses offering their wares to you.

Well the weather doesn't look perfect, yet we plan to go. If it takes a turn for the worse, we will postpone til Sunday. No announcement will be made on the change until sometime tonight. Please plan to go on Saturday.

Weather permitting, Town Day fireworks will be at dusk over Manchester Field. Don't miss this spectacular display.

Town day this year is dedicated to two long-serving Town Day volunteers who recently passed away.

Both of these people were so much more than Town day volunteers, you could find their hands in so many things in Wi******er. From town government, to the Winton Club, to keeping people warm with heating oil to keeping people warm by caring for others. Both Deb and Jimmy loved life, their family and their community.

Thanks for your years of dedication and hard work to make Town Day what it is today. RIP

The Town Day committee met tonight to discuss Town Day 2024, which is Saturday June 1st. We kept the tradition of always having it on the first Saturday of June.

This coincides with the Memorial Day Weekend.

Also tonight, we met with three representatives from Andover's Town Day equivalent, known as Andover Days. Several of us went there last year and we are both working together to make each of our events better.

Andover Days this year is on September 21st.

Town Day 2024 is scheduled, as usual, on the First Saturday in June!

The Town Day block party scheduled for tonight will be ON rain or shine. We will be able to have it inside Wi******er fire headquarters.

So please plan to attend.

At this point we plan to hold Town Day as scheduled on Saturday. While the weather forecast isn't perfect, it appears that any precipitation will be in the form of showers and not a steady rain.

Dress warmly and enjoy the day.

Wi******er Town Day is on Saturday, June 1st this year, with a block party for kids on Friday May 31st at about 6:00 p.m. In front of the fire station.🚒👩‍🚒

Fireworks will be Saturday evening after sunset or about 9:00 p.m.. 🎆🎇

Due to the construction at the Wi******er train station 🚉🚆 the layout will be similar to last year's involving the parking lot across from Town Hall as well as part of the town Common.
