The offseason is one of the most valuable tools an AT has.
Not just for rest, but for honest evaluation 🧐
Of your practice, your boundaries, your environment, and your growth.
The ATs who show up stronger every year aren't the ones who just push through.
They're the ones who take the time between seasons to assess, adjust, and build intentionally.
Use this post to reflect!

Here are a few things we recommend before closing your ATR doors for the summer.
Sharing them here to help you close out strong.
Save this to refer back to when you need it and pass it along to a colleague who could use it too.

This one is for you.
We just opened a part-time Athletic Trainer opportunity in Hollywood, CA. It's approximately 15 consistent hours per week, variable Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings.

A return-to-play decision isn't a recommendation.
It's a clinical call made by a licensed, board-certified healthcare provider. One who has assessed the injury, monitored the recovery, and determined what's safe.
That authority deserves to be respected.
Not questioned by a coach.
Not overridden by an administrator.
Not dismissed because someone doesn't understand the expertise behind it.
ATs are healthcare professionals, and their clinical decisions should be treated as such.
Share this to advocate for the often overlooked value ATs bring.

ATvantage was built by ATs who lived the realities of this profession firsthand.
The understaffed seasons.
The decisions that got second-guessed.
The roles that asked for everything and gave back very little.
We built something different because we knew it was possible and because ATs deserve better than the status quo.
Sustainable roles.
Competitive pay.
Real work-life balance.
And a team that advocates for you beyond just placing you.
You deserve a role that reflects the value you bring. Let's talk.
