What happens when we refuse to choose between scientific rigor and expectant faith?

At Heal the Healers Boston, we're not interested in sensationalism.

But we're not interested in explaining away the supernatural works of God, either.

We're bringing physicians, researchers, theologians, and healing ministry leaders into the same room.

We'll examine the evidence. Explore strong biblical theology. Hear real-life testimonies. And ask hard questions about healing and miracles.

Then we'll move beyond discussion.

Jesus taught His disciples, demonstrated the Kingdom, and sent them out to do what they had seen Him do.

As physicians, we recognize that model!

It's hard to believe we're here.

What started as a vision is now just days away from becoming a reality.

I'm so grateful for the speakers, volunteers, and everyone who has helped bring this gathering together.

And I'm looking forward to welcoming Christian physicians and healthcare professionals to Boston for conversations about faith, healing, and medicine that I believe are deeply needed.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

One of the things I am personally most excited about at Heal the Healers Boston is our Friday evening with Jason Upton.

If you're familiar with Jason's worship, you know it isn't quite like what we experience with many contemporary worship bands.

His worship invites us to slow down. To listen. To be still before the Lord.

𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆.

And I think that's something we desperately need, especially in medicine.

We spend our days caring for others, solving problems, making decisions, and carrying enormous responsibility.

But how often do we really stop long enough to sit with ourselves before God?

With our struggles.

Our disappointments.

Our fears.

Our vulnerabilities.

The things we've been carrying that perhaps no one else even knows about.

I believe this evening has the potential to break something open in many of us. Not because of a particular song or worship leader, but because of what happens when we make room for the Holy Spirit to minister to the places we so often keep hidden.

This is why I wanted extended worship and ministry to be part of Heal the Healers.

Because sometimes the healer needs to stop doing, stop giving, and simply receive.

I am personally so excited about what God might do in that room.

This gathering has been on my heart for a long time.

I believe we need spaces where Christian physicians and healthcare professionals can bring their whole selves—their scientific training, clinical experience, questions, and faith—into meaningful conversations about healing.

And where we can worship, pray, and receive encouragement along the way.

I'm so excited that it's almost here.

What if following Jesus in medicine means more than integrating your faith into your work?

When I think about what makes a conference worthwhile, it's rarely just the information.

It's often the conversations, the relationships, the encouragement, and the moments that stay with us long after we've returned home.

Four days until registration closes for Heal the Healers Boston.

The closer we get, the more grateful I am for the people who have said yes to being part of this gathering.

The speakers. The worship leaders. The volunteers. The physicians and healthcare professionals making the trip from across the country.

It takes a lot to bring something like this together, but I believe these conversations about healing, miracles, faith, and medicine matter.

People are flying across the country to pray for you.

I want you to know that.

For Heal the Healers Boston, people are giving their time, purchasing plane tickets, booking hotels, and rearranging schedules because they believe in what God wants to do among physicians and healthcare professionals.

They are coming to teach.

To encourage.

To pray over you.

To speak life into you.

To equip you to carry the presence of Jesus back into medicine.

Over 100 people are expected in the room, including attendees, speakers, volunteers, and guests.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Those words came from one of our conference speakers, who has been involved in Christian ministry within Boston healthcare for 24 years.

And I think they capture something important about why we're gathering.
