Jennifer Witten 🤍Triggered by your teen. Dismissed by your doctor✨Helping midlife moms make sense of what's happening to them. Want a place to start? What you're feeling is real.

Watch my FREE Rage to Regulation Masterclass If you're a mom in perimenopause parenting an anxious teen, and you feel like you're constantly on edge—you're in the right place. I'm Jen, and I'm right there with you. I'm raising two neurodivergent teens while navigating perimenopause, exhaustion, mood swings, and all the things nobody warned us about. Here's what I've learned after 6+ years of coaching mothers and what I want you to know:

Your hormones are fluctuating wildly—that's perimenopause. Your patience feels thinner than ever—that's managing two massive transitions at once. Your body is changing while your kids are growing up in an increasingly anxious world. And you're not alone in this. So many moms are navigating this in silence, but it doesn't have to be that way.

✨Here's the truth nobody tells you✨
You can't regulate your teen when you're dysregulated yourself. You can't pour from an empty cup. And you can't parent consciously when your nervous system is running on fumes. That's why I teach moms to regulate themselves FIRST. Through somatic breathwork and nervous system regulation tools, I help you:
- Stay calm when your teen is in crisis
- Navigate perimenopause symptoms while showing up for your family
- Let go of the guilt and "should's"
- Support your anxious teen from a grounded, regulated place

✨My approach✨
Simple breathwork tools you can do in 60 seconds when you're about to lose your patience. Nervous system practices that work in real life—not just in theory. And real talk about the messy, hard parts of this transition in midlife that nobody posts about. Here, we let go of guilt, shame, and blame. We surrender to the unknown and trust that life is always working for us—even when it doesn't feel like it. I'm a Certified Conscious Parenting Coach and Somatic Breathwork Facilitator. I recently published "The Sacred Pause: A Mother's Guide to Perimenopause" with real education, doctor advocacy scripts, nervous system tools, and the truth about transformation at midlife. You don’t need to have it figured out. You just need to press play.

The restlessness. The quiet. The weird grief of watching your kids step into their lives while you’re standing there wondering what yours looks like now. That’s not a crisis. That’s a becoming.

Put on a song that used to move you. See what wakes up.

We’re in the in-between and it’s uncomfortable — but it’s not empty. Follow if you’re on this journey too.

Something brought you here today.

And if you felt something while reading through these slides - that quiet recognition, that exhale of finally being seen — I want you to know that feeling is real and It matters.

You have been carrying so much for so long. The weight of it lives in your body, your nervous system, your bones.

And most of the world just keeps asking you to carry more.

This page exists to remind you that you are enough. You are a woman in the middle of a profound season of life who deserves to find her way back to herself.

If you’re looking for a place to start, my free masterclass is a gentle first step. You’ll find it in my bio.

My body got bigger. My tolerance for BS got smaller. Both are staying. 🙌

And honestly? It took me way too long to stop fighting both of those things.

We spend our 20’s & 30s shrinking. Our bodies, our opinions, our needs. Performing “fine” while running completely empty.

Then your 40s & 50’s show up and something shifts.
The weight doesn’t budge. But neither does your voice anymore. Your boundaries stop being optional. Your peace becomes non-negotiable.

That’s a woman coming online.🔥

If your body is changing and you’re done making it the enemy — you’re exactly who I’m talking to. This decade isn’t the beginning of the end.
It’s the beginning of you.

🙌🏻 Save this. Share it with the mom who’s still at war with her body. She needs to hear it.

If you’ve ever laid in bed at night replaying the fight with your teen, cringing at the sound of your own voice… this is for you. 🤍

You’re not a bad mom. You’re a mom with an overwhelmed nervous system — and nobody taught you how to regulate it in midlife.

The yelling…. It’s a stress response. And it can change.
I’m going to show you exactly how in my free masterclass “From Rage to Regulation”— comment PAUSE below and I’ll send you the link. 🙌🏻

The repair is always more important than the rupture.

When we learn to go back, own our part, and apologize — that’s where trust is built. That’s where the foundation of a real relationship with our teen gets laid.

Think about it. If you had a disagreement with anyone else in your life and you wanted to make it right, what would you do? You’d go back. You’d apologize. You’d swallow your ego and own your piece of it.

Our kids deserve that same respect.

And here’s what I’ve seen — when we show up in full vulnerability and self-responsibility, we’re not just repairing a moment. We’re modeling that this is how you create safety in a relationship. We’re showing them that connection can survive hard moments. And we’re telling them something they deeply need to hear — that they didn’t deserve the yelling.

I know going back feels awkward, especially the first time. But it gets more natural the more you do it. And it’s exactly what builds a loving, lasting relationship with your teen — one that carries all the way into their adulthood.

👏🏼Here’s a script you can use today:
“Hey, I just need to come back and say I’m sorry. I was having a really hard day — that was on me, not you. You didn’t deserve that. How can I make this better?”

Then offer something. Do they want to talk? Do they need a hug? Do they just need to know you came back? Let them tell you.

That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Save this for the next time you need to know what to say!

This moment is for every mother in her midlife who deserves to exhale.

We go and go and give and give until we forget that we exist too. But then — a sunset hits. 🌅

The car is quiet. No one needs anything. And suddenly she’s back. That younger version of you who still knows how to find the joy, still knows how to laugh, still knows how to feel alive.

Even if you’re navigating hard health stuff. Even if your hormones are all over the place. Even if your teenager is struggling and you don’t have the answers.

✨You are allowed to press pause on the chaos.
🤍You are allowed to choose yourself tonight.
🥂You are allowed to have your time.
