Jenica Norris, MBA, PMP ADHD business consultant, Spokane WA, remote across the US. Ex-Microsoft/Zillow ops, AuDHD brain, I built this because I needed it. Clarity, Energy, Momentum.

Get the FOCUS Framework, link below. Most ADHD and neurodivergent entrepreneurs don't struggle because they lack discipline or ambition. They struggle because traditional business systems were never designed for how their brains actually work. I'm Jenica Norris—The ADHD Business Rebel, founder of Strategic Sound Consulting, and creator of The Three Frameworks that help neurodivergent entrepreneurs

turn operational chaos into strategic momentum. THE THREE FRAMEWORKS

Everything I teach is built on these brain-first frameworks:

→ The ADHD Business Rebel Framework (Clarity → Energy → Momentum)
Your foundational philosophy for building a business that works with your brain, not against it.

→ The ADHD Advantage OS™ (Amplify → Align → Accelerate)
The operating system that converts your ADHD strengths into scalable business performance.

→ The ADHD CEO 3-Step Focus Framework (Energy Mapping → Task Alignment → Daily Power Blocks)
The tactical tool that helps you execute daily without relying on willpower. WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE

My clients don't become "more disciplined." They build brain-friendly systems that actually stick. Together, we:
- Reduce executive function drain by 30-60%
- Build sustainable workflows that honor energy cycles
- Create consistent follow-through without burnout
- Reclaim 10-15 hours per week of focus and energy

WHO THIS IS FOR

✓ Capable entrepreneurs tired of "sprints and stalls"
✓ Tried every productivity system—they work for a week, then collapse
✓ Done apologizing for how your brain works
✓ Ready to leverage your ADHD as a competitive edge

Your ADHD isn't the problem. Neurotypical systems are.

Revenue up. Everything closing. Then Thursday hits and you can’t answer an email without staring at the wall for ten minutes.

That’s not you falling apart. That’s the bill coming due for a push nobody told you to plan around.

Output that exceeds what’s sustainable always gets paid back somewhere. The good week and the bad week aren’t unrelated events. One is the direct cost of the other, and most systems only ever plan for the good one.

You’re not inconsistent. You’re running on a system with no plan for what happens after the push.

Comment FOCUS if you want the framework that plans for both.

You don’t have an idea problem. You have a browser full of open tabs, a calendar built for someone else’s brain, and a weekly review that assumes you’ll remember what happened. None of it was ever going to hold.

The idea that felt brilliant an hour ago is gone if you don’t capture it immediately, so voice memo it before you finish the thought. Hyperfocus feels productive but it borrows from the next two days, budget for the crash. Your sharpest decision-making hours are earlier than you think, decision fatigue peaks by 2pm. Every open tab is a decision your brain is still quietly holding, close them. Body doubling isn’t a crutch, it’s outsourcing executive function you don’t reliably have.

You’re not scattered. You’re running more ideas through a system that was never built to hold them.

You had a great week. Revenue up, calls closed, everything moving. Then Thursday hit and you couldn’t answer an email without staring at the wall for ten minutes.

That’s not a discipline gap. That’s the crash that always follows a hyperfocus push, and nobody budgets for it because nobody tells you it’s coming.

Same with the rest of these. Your decision-making brain runs out of gas by early afternoon, so the calls that need real judgment go before 2pm. Ideas vanish in 90 seconds without a voice memo. Your calendar assumes a brain that plans linearly and remembers without prompts, which was never yours. Weekly reviews that rely on memory are built to fail before you start. Every open tab is a decision your brain is still quietly holding. Body doubling isn’t a workaround, it’s outsourcing executive function you don’t have reliable access to.

None of this means you need to try harder. It means the system running your week was never built for how you actually operate.

I’m an ADHD business coach hunkered down for a hurricane that hits tonight.

Lowell is bearing down on Kauai right now. I’m sitting in the quiet before it, and that quiet is its own kind of loud. Anyone with an ADHD brain knows what I mean. The waiting is sometimes worse than the thing itself.

Here’s what I noticed. This is what it feels like right before a business falls apart on a neurodivergent founder trying to hold everything together at once. Not the metaphor. The real, physical version.

🌀 every choice suddenly feels like an emergency
🌀 the coping tools that normally work stop working
🌀 your brain runs worst-case scenarios on a loop
🌀 you still have to decide something, right now, without all the facts

Twelve years in corporate operations at Microsoft, Zillow, and T-Mobile taught me one rule. Figure out what’s actually broken before you try to fix it. That’s what I’m doing right now, before the storm even hits. It’s the same thing I do with every ADHD entrepreneur who hits this kind of burnout.

Swipe through for the actual method. Not a quick fix. A way of thinking built for how ADHD brains handle a crisis, before and during.

Out of Office. For real this time. ✈️

Starting tomorrow I’m trading my inbox for Kauai and I’m not going to pretend I’ll be fully unplugged. I’ll be checking things here and there, but responses will be slower than usual because rest doesn’t work if it’s squeezed into the margins of a beach chair.

No team behind me means I stay reachable, just slower. That’s the honest tradeoff of running solo, and I’d rather name it than pretend otherwise.

Here’s how I’m holding the boundary anyway, and how you can too:

🧠 Pick one channel to stay half-on, ignore the rest
⏰ Block your first morning back for triage only, no meetings
📋 Write your “if this happens, do this” list before you go
🔕 Kill notification badges, not just DND
🎯 Decide what “checking in” means before you leave, not in the moment

Your business doesn’t need you glued to your phone to stay sound. If it does, that’s a systems problem, not a discipline problem.

Back in the office September 10th. Need something before then? Check the resources in my bio, most questions I get are already answered there. Or send me a DM and I’ll get to it, just on island time. 🌺

Here’s how I actually prep for vacation as an AuDHD CEO. Not the productivity-hack version, not “push through everything first.”

I spent 12 years diagnosing process failures inside operations teams at Microsoft, Zillow, and T-Mobile. Same lens here: a business that breaks the moment its founder steps away doesn’t have a vacation problem. It has a single point of failure.

The buffer days. The predecided urgency list. The checklists instead of memory. The real dates instead of vague ones. The sensory reset planned as carefully as the calendar.

None of it is about willpower. The ADHD side needed the structure written down instead of held in my head. The autistic side needed the predictability and the sensory plan built in from the start, not bolted on after I already burned out once.

MBA, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, and more corporate ops hours than I can count, all pointed at one idea: the problem was never the brain, it was the systems built for someone else’s.

What’s your one non-negotiable before you step away, the thing you never skip no matter how last-minute the trip is? Drop it below, I’m always looking to steal a good system. 👇

Lisa ran an e-commerce business doing $60K a year. Meetings slipped through the cracks. Deliverables got missed, not because she didn’t care, but because her calendar had no relationship to how her brain actually operates. She was running five people’s worth of decisions through the hours built for one.

She called it a discipline problem for years. It wasn’t. It was a business with no system built for how she operates.

We didn’t push her to work harder. We didn’t add more hours to a calendar that was already fighting her. Clarity first: we mapped where decisions were actually getting made, and where they were quietly stalling out. Energy next: we found where her real capacity was going and stopped routing every decision through her most exhausted hours. Momentum always: we built delivery and follow-through systems that held even on her hardest weeks, not just her best ones.

Eight months in:

💰 Revenue at $250K
🧑‍💼 A team in place, work no longer bottlenecked through her
📅 Zero missed meetings

Nothing about her brain changed. The system around it did. That’s the entire difference between a business that runs you and one you actually run.
