There's a saying that goes, "It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, it's what we do consistently. And that consistency and action is what provides the success for the fruition of our dreams.” ⁣⁣⁣

Being a fanatical runner and mentor for many of my years prior to all the travels & adventures, the traveling made me put much of the running onto the back-burner. I would run as often as it allowed, but it lacked the consistency that I always knew of… and it’s long term consistency that trumps short term intensity. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
With that being an importance, and priority, Last couple months I begun to restructure some of my old [yet] positive habits. I started to write myself a structured bi-weekly training plan, and in turn ramp up my volume, intensity, and also density. The cool part is the results are coming back gradually, and it’s been fun to experience the progression, improvement and growth again. With all the crazy increases I also made time again to take care of my body doing all sorts of physical flossing work… from going in for my daily check-ups with body/hip/back/foot adjustment and alignment with , to rolling out my legs to recover (yep, with my very own strong vibrational foam roller ) to walking or standing around after workouts in the comfy , this whole thing has been quite a meticulous process. ⁣⁣⁣

It also had me thinking… I always had this ambition and dream of wanting to become a professional athlete back when I was a kid. And while I was obsessed about the pursuit and that came to my own personal detriment, I always loved the process. The obsession of the pursuit was never for the accolades, money, or fame, but rather for the personal constant chase of self-mastery… and this passion and love for it will never change, and it’s exciting to seek and chase it. There’s still so much to do, so much to learn, so much I don’t know about my own life, and because of that, so much to still become.⁣⁣⁣
