MURPH this Saturday 8:30 AM 🇺🇸

A workout that tests more than fitness.

Pacing. Discipline. Mental toughness. The ability to keep moving when things get uncomfortable.

Whether you’re going RX with a vest, scaling the volume, partnering up, or tackling it solo, the goal stays the same, show up and put in the work.

This is one of our favorite community workouts of the year because everyone can do it their own way while still suffering together a little bit 🤝

Expect a hard effort, good people, loud cheering, and a whole lot of sweat.

🇺🇸Partner + individual and scaled options available.
🦺Vest optional.

Let’s get after it. 👊💪

At Boulder Athletics, we’re intentional about what we don’t do.

We don’t chase exhaustion or confuse it with progress. We don’t program without a plan, and we don’t rush people into weights they haven’t earned yet.

Everything we do is built around a different approach. One that starts with movement quality, develops strength over time, and prioritizes training that carries over into real life.

It’s simple, and it’s effective.

Most people bounce between extremes.

All-in for a few weeks. Then completely off.

The real progress happens in the middle. With consistent, steady training you can sustain year-round.

Not perfect. Not extreme. Just consistent enough to keep moving forward.

Big hikes, long rides, distance runs… and then nothing during the week. That’s where people get beat up and feel wrecked.

Strength training during the week is what supports those big days. It builds durability, reduces injury risk, and actually makes those efforts feel better.

Train during the week so you can enjoy your weekends more 🔥💪 Let’s get it

If your training is working, you’ll start to notice it in ways that don’t always get posted.

You’re moving better without overthinking it. Weights that used to feel heavy don’t hit the same anymore. You’re recovering faster, and you feel more confident stepping into workouts. Big PRs are great, but they’re not the full picture.

Most progress happens quietly, in the day-to-day improvements that add up over time. Keep stacking!

What makes Boulder Athletics different isn’t just the workouts.

It’s the way everything works together, intentional programming, coaching that actually teaches, and a community that shows up.

We’re not here to just make you tired. We’re here to help you build strength, move well, and keep doing what you love outside the gym.

New cycle starts today. Let’s get to work. 💪🔥

Getting in shape doesn’t need to be complicated.

Eat real food and enough protein.
Move your body consistently.
Recover like it actually matters.
Surround yourself with people who keep you accountable.

That’s it. No hacks, no shortcuts, no starting over every Monday. Simple habits, done well, over time.

Training works best when it has a plan. That’s why we program in cycles. Within our 8 or 12 week cycles, we have shorter mesocycles that build on the one before it. Refining movement, building strength, and gradually increasing the challenge. Instead of random workouts, the goal is steady progress.

Move well first. Add strength. Then keep building from there. It’s not flashy, but it works.

Next cycle starts April 6th, who’s in?
