Alebrijes 04/02/2020

Throwback Thursday! Back in November, 4th graders created their own alebrijes* and wrote about them in Spanish. Here are a few examples of their beautifully creative work!

*Alebrijes are brightly colored wooden sculptures. They are made to look like fantastical or mythical creatures. The first alebrijes, as well as the name itself, are attributed to Pedro Linares, an artisan from México City.
