Meet Alyssa Caruana, your pro for Session 3.

Alyssa is a competitive ballroom dancer, accomplished performer, and dedicated mentor with a passion for empowering students through dance. As Co-Owner of DanzAmor Dance Studio, she is committed to cultivating confidence, technical excellence, and a love of dance in every student she teaches.

Alyssa is a finalist in both Smooth and Rhythm and is recognized as a leading teacher within the ballroom dance community. Her performance experience extends beyond the competitive floor, with appearances as a salsa dancer in the Hallmark Channel’s “South Beach Love,” Lifetime’s “Love on Retreat,” and “Ballroom TV Reboot.” Through her competitive achievements, professional experience, and mentorship, Alyssa brings a unique combination of artistry, expertise, and enthusiasm to her students and the dance community.

Meet Shō, your pro for Session Two.

Renowned for his artistry, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, Shō made his professional debut at just 14 years old as a ballet dancer. His career took him on two world tours then to performances both on and off Broadway before he discovered a passion for ballroom dancing.

Shō went on to establish an accomplished professional ballroom career before transitioning his focus to judging, coaching, and mentoring dancers of all levels. Now based in Northeast Florida, he is excited to share his extensive experience, knowledge, and passion for dance with every student he meets.

Meet Rachel, your pro for Session One.

Rachel Palmieri brings more than 35 years of dance experience and has been inspiring students as a professional ballroom instructor since 2009. A former Fred Astaire National Smooth Finalist, Rachel has built a reputation for exceptional technique, artistry, and dynamic instruction.

Today, she competes professionally on the Country Western Circuit, where she recently earned an impressive 2nd Place finish in Division 1 at the World Championships. Whether she’s coaching beginners or advanced competitors, Rachel is passionate about helping every dancer reach their full potential. She currently teaches throughout The Villages and the Ocala, Florida area, sharing her expertise, enthusiasm, and love of dance with students of all levels.
