Construction for the roundabout at El Clair Ranch and Pipers Glen Blvd to begin on or about June 1. !! Yay!! Finally going to have a safer intersection.

Our pool is temporarily closed due to a required repair on the step coping and a drain fixture. It will reopen tomorrow, May 15th, at noon.

Attention homeowners and residents: The pool maintenance company has disabled one of the heater units because both are being tampered with . We have a homeowner(s) who feel it is their place to personally adjust the heater settings into the 95°+ temps. This not only stresses the units into over working but also increases the water temperature beyond the health department’s recommended and approved range and dramatically increases the quantity of chemicals needed to keep our pool safe for swimming.
The health department has warned our community of this high temperature setting and any further occurrence will result in the closing our pool.
Both units have been tampered with and unfortunately, because of this , the heater/chiller is now possibly broken. This service call and possible repair may cost our community thousands of dollars.
The pool temperature is set by our professional maintenance company at the appropriate temperature. If you see anyone near the heater/ chiller units, please contact Southern Shores Management or your HOA . This will be kept confidential.

Reminder! We are having the streets restriped Feb 25. Please be sure not to park at the curb. Vehicles blocking access will be towed .
