Our Story

CHI-LIN Chuan (Kung Fu) is a Chinese martial art based on the CHI-LIN, a mythical beast that has the characteristics of many different animals. It has the unique ability to change from one animal to another as it is necessary.
The characteristics of the CHI-LIN are those of personal integrity, strength of character and flexibility. Our goal is to integrate these ideas into a way of life.

BaGua Zhang is a dynamic and healthy Chinese martial that was a bodyguard for the royal family in Imperial China. The practice of BaGua develops spiraling energy and very nimble and complex footwork through the classical practice of walking the circle. It is designed to fight multiple opponents at once. Traditional BaGua Zhang training will develop ‘the BaGua body’ which is strong and healthy, strengthening the tendons and bones.

Burmese Warrior Yoga is a powerful and intense form of Yoga that comes from the region of Burma (Myanmar). This style utilizes the basic tools of a warrior, the Staff (Dhanda Yoga) and the Bow (Longyi Yoga) along with a special breathing technique to stretch and strengthen the body and activate the nine major chakras.
Letha Yoga is a 'partner assisted' style that engages a practitioners centers and chakras with the help of a skilled partner.

We also practice Wu style Taiji Quan and Filipino martial arts, including single and double stick, knife, karambit, and machete.
