Montana Surf is pleased to announce that our Blitzz FC recreational soccer program is now Montana Surf Recreational Soccer. “In order to serve our players and families better, we have decided to unite all of our programs under the same name, allowing us to better articulate the depth and value of our programming. Montana Surf is the largest youth sports organization in the Gallatin Valley and the only soccer program that offers a pathway to every level of soccer for youth athletes,” said Montana Surf Technical Director, Joel Harris. Great weekend of high level play in Spokane for our Surf Select athletes. Surf Select regional and national tryouts expose our Montana players to increasingly intense competition, offering them “best of the best” opportunities to learn and improve.

Resilient. An important word and one of our Montana Surf core values. Surf athletes from across the Northwest are displaying their resilience this weekend as they train in the freezing temps in Spokane. Working through the hard stuff in the field prepares kids to handle adversity in other parts of their lives.

Players will showcase their talents for a possible placement on Surf Select NW Regional team to compete at the PACNW Winter Showcase and to earn a nomination to continue on to the Surf Select National ID Camp in California in February.

Montana Surf is bringing warmth and love to our Gallatin Valley community this season through a winter clothing drive benefitting the families served by . Families are in need of:

*Winter Clothes for children 2- 5 years old.
*Winter Clothes for Girls and boys size medium and large
*Parents need coats -small, medium and large for men and women
*socks, beanie hats, gloves, womens underwear size small to large.

Montana Surf athletes began their Olympic Development Program season last weekend. Montana’s 2011 boys and girls won the Hero’s Cup in Mesquite, Nevada. 2009 & 2010 teams are competing in Arizona this weekend. Good luck!

This year 14 Montana Surf players were placed on Surf Select national teams playing in locations as far away as Spain and against top teams like Paris Saint Germain and FC Barcelona youth academies. Our high school aged players attending Surf Cup had an opportunity to attend a Surf College ID Camp in July attended by over 36 coaches from the country’s top programs. We are thrilled to announce that Vanessa Davis has been selected out of 1600 nominees nationwide as a finalist for the 2022 Stack MVP Awards! Athletes selected from our local tryout will move on to the regional tryout in Spokane in November. From Spokane, players may be chosen to attend Surf Select National Team tryouts in San Diego in February. In 2023, fourteen Montana Surf athletes played for Surf national teams in places like San Diego, Florida and Spain and against teams like PSG and FC Barcelona Academies. The Surf player pathway offers unparalleled opportunities and unforgettable experiences for our athletes.

From the Treasure State, will participate with both their boys and girls teams!

This is a Surf Nation ONLY event and will be held February 18-20, 2023, in San Diego CA.

Surf Nation, we're excited to bring our U14 teams annually to San Diego to compete Surf vs Surf! Surf Nation Champions League event is open for all 2009 Boys and Girls top Teams across Surf Nation and will be used as the identification process to represent Surf Select at these age groups in 2023.

Surf Nation Champions League has the potential to be the best in the country given the quality we possess within our community!

This is just another great step within our Surf Nation program! We look forward to seeing our 2009s this winter in San Diego!
