You Are What You Eat
What to eat, how much to eat, when to eat, and why we overeat have been explored since the very first diet book was published in 1863. The author lost 35 pounds and decided that his anecdotal personal experience counted as evidence and thus the pseudo-science of diet and nutrition culture was born.
Check out today's blog for a round-up of findings of over 400 diet books:

There is one question that every human on earth asks themselves every day. What's for Dinner? Cooking is a basic human endeavor. We all must eat, multiple times a day, and feeding ourselves and others is a basic skill we all must develop. Check out today's blog for something delicious to make this weekend:

We've all been there. We've decided to push it a little, either in the gym, on the slopes, on the field, on the pitch, on the trail, or on the road.
We push it to test our physical limits. We push it to mental limits. We push it because we like to work hard. Then, something happens. Should we come to the gym when we're sore or injured? Check out today's Thursday blog for the answer:

May is Mental Health Month, and cooking can positively impact our mental health. It certainly does for me! When I cook I'm present and in the moment. I'm focused. Most importantly, I'm taking control of my health.
Check out today's blog for a look into how cooking can positively impact mental health and a delicious spring recipe you can make this weekend:

Sitting is something we do A LOT! By some estimates we sit up to 10 hours a day. All of this sitting has impacted our health.
For some of us, a standing workstation is unrealistic or the nature of our job requires a seated position. There's good news for all of us obligatory sitters! A mere 5-minute walking break every 30 minutes can offset the negative health impacts of prolonged sitting.
Check out how you can ameliorate the negative impacts of sitting in today's blog

We Are Not Your Average Gym

We are Bozeman's best CrossFit gym! We do things differently and we like it that way. We don't subscribe to the "go big or go home" mentality. We meet you where you are today. Some days just getting to the gym is the victory, and we'll celebrate that. Some days you're going to crush the workout, some days the workout crushes you. We get it. We've been there, too. We ask that you show up consistently and give it your best effort. We don't judge. We don't punish. We support. We encourage. We challenge. We welcome you to join us.
