Man of the Tournament: Salvatore Del Gaudio
Results: 4-2

This troop took on some of the best competition at Tropical 7s, and . After a highly competitive day 1 going 2-1, the troop fought hard on day 2. Only losing to the tournament champions, the troop showed they were a formidable side. Few teams played with more flare and intensity, none exemplified this more than Sal. Sal came in as a disciplined vet, not in age but IQ and resilience. Quickly pulling together an impressive U18 Gorillaz side that the youth scene surely hasn’t seen the last of.
Thank you to the tournament organizers , our amazing families, sponsors, and coaches for making this experience possible. It was a fun experience, but next time the cup is coming home with troop.

Gorilla Camp #6 Recap

Sunday, We were able to partner with the Houston Arrows RFC to host a gorilla camp in the South Texas area.
With about 10+ attendees in each session, the camp was a great learning experience. The players had an hour rotation of different skills drills and games, followed by an hour of 7s Scrimmages/Open Play. There were current, former, and soon to be Gorilla members in age groups ranging from 10-24+ years old.It was great to have young players so willing to learn and committed to growing. Massive shout out to Brett from the Arrows for coordinating with us!
Shoutout to the coaches who helped and attended
Coach Bennett
Coach Rauli

This was our first camp after our troops returned from , in preparation for the summer season.

Our next camp is April 19th in Dallas, don’t miss out!
The link to all our camps is in our bio, register to have a chance to join the troop!
