We've concluded our week in the Gospel of Matthew at ITA. It was an extremely rich and in-depth study. By the Lord's sovereign leading and providence on Good Friday we were in the passion narrative. The last supper was specifically examined as we looked at the significance of the cup(s) and bread. Our students and the local Italian churches they represent were challenged to ultimately "go and make disciples..." Thank you for your continued prayers and support. The ITA is being used of the Lord to lead forth a spiritual reformation in Italy. We are humbled and thankful...

Lou Priolo at ITA!!! Excited to have a week's training on Biblical Parenting beginning next Monday. Please pray for us at ITA as we delve into this helpful and needed topic for the local Italian church and for the family in general. We train for "the perfection of the saints..." Eph 4:12

A new day begins at ITA. By Thursday fatigue appears (in the prof. as well :). We had thus far a great study and discussion on the principle of litteral interpretation with implications on inspiration, inerrancy, and the authority of the Bible. All weariness in this sense is overecome when before the power and depth of God's Word.

We are focusing on the general principles of Bible interpretation today. Many pastoral questions/discussions come up almost to the point of it becoming a "pastoral ministries class". There is such a great need for biblical instruction...

A new academic year about to begin at ITA. Next week our first expository preaching class will take place. The ITA team is ready and excited! We're so thankful for your continued love and prayers for our work in Italy and for the Lord's Church here. Soli deo Gloria!

FOCUS 2011 is coming soon! Soli Deo Gloria, the last of the 5 solas of the reformation, will be the theme. We ask for your prayers as many Italian believers gather in Perugia from the 10th to the 14th of October. Keynote speakers: John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, Jeff Williams, Lucio Stanisci, and Johnny Gravino.

The Italian Theological Academy shares it's heart about training men in Italy. A unique ministry that represents an important continuity with the FOCUS Conference. In all we are reaching Italy with a four-pronged approach: a training academy; annual pastors conference; publishing sound theological books, and establishing model churches to disseminate God's truth and sound theology at the local church level.
