I felt the love this week with so many friends and family coming out to support me at the !
Changed driver shafts for the first time in years and followed it up with a hard-fought 20th place finish.
Finally, to my brother and sister , I will miss you both 😭. All good things come to an end and I love you both so much.
Time to go work harder than ever before and chase a PGA tour card!

Yesterday I experienced something that made golf feel very small. Santa Cecillia Church was built in partnership with ICM and the Christian Mission Alliance in Bogota, Colombia. Because of the vision of Pastora Lucy Lancheros and her family, a very poor, gang-ridden section of Bogota has been completely transformed for Christ. Before her, even the government could not step foot in this neighborhood. Here we have both a church, and a Hope center that focuses 5 main areas. . 1. Social Compassion to many Venezuelan Refugees. 2. Health for those caught up in the drug culture. 3. Education for over 150 young children 4. Entrepreneurship for many men and women (ex. Sowing room) and 5. Preach the gospel of Peace, Jesus Christ.
BirdiesForHope will be building and supporting churches like Santa Cecillia, that are bringing hope to the world day by day.

So excited to announce BirdiesforHope, a project that God put on my heart this offseason. I am partnering with an incredible ministry, International Cooperating Ministries (ICM) to build churches and hope buildings for communities that need them.
Here is our first project: through my golf this season, Lord willing we will fund a building for the Rios de Agua Viva Arjona Church in Arjona, Colombia! They have been waiting for a place of worship since 2004! I am donating $10 for every birdie I make this season on the Korn Ferry tour towards BirdiesforHope. I will be looking for other individuals who want to partner with me to donate ANY amount per birdie. We want this to be a grassroots project and we can get creative to get everyone involved. More information on how you can support this project and reasons behind my partnership with ICM coming very soon!!!

2020 Schedule!

10/13/2019

I realize I have not updated everyone on our end of the season and offseason schedule. My apologies!
Unfortunately, we did not gain our PGA tour card through the Korn Ferry tour season finals although we did make 2 of the 3 cuts.
I finished 41st on the regular season's points list. Top 25 graduate to the PGA Tour. Because I finished in the top 75, I will be fully exempt on the Korn Ferry tour next year starting in January and will not need to go through Q-School this fall.
This offseason I am focusing on my ball-striking, mental toughness, and physical stamina through increasing stability workouts in the gym, cutting body fat, and working on Fairways and Greens hit. So far so good. In two Monday qualifiers for PGA tour events, I shot -7, 65 and -3, 69 missing the tournament by 1 and 2 shots. With more Mondays and mini-tour events coming up, I am excited with the state of my golf game.
More than anything, I am just excited to be home in Tampa for a couple months, grow closer to God, reestablish old friendships and make new ones.
Thank you everyone for your kind messages, prayers, and support!

Hey guys, I figure it’s time for another update on the season.
First, Korn Ferry Consulting bought the Formerly Web dot com tour, so the tour I play on is now named the Korn Ferry tour.
After a solid start to the year, I locked up postseason status and a card on the Korn Ferry Tour for next year (unlike last year where I missed keeping my job by 1 shot).
Unfortunately, I hit a rut the past 8 weeks but Stangers never give up. I’m excited to finish the season on a strong note.
We have one more event in Portland to finish the regular season, then onto the postseason 3 events for another chance to get my PGA tour card.
Essentially a top 3 in any of my final 4 events will get me a PGA tour card.
Be praying for a sound mind as the travel is wearing on me and for patience on and off the course as tempers run hot this time of year.
I’ve been unbelievably blessed with a great caddie, Tillis, and great friends who have helped me grow this year.
It’s been a year of maturing outside of my comfort zone; I’m excited to see how I respond the next 4 weeks!

‪On my W/D: On Tuesday I came down with the common cold. I thought I could push through it and play this week in Kansas City. I woke up this morning excited and ready to go. Considering the damp cold weather (45 degrees, no sun, and winds), I couldn’t take deep breaths and felt incredibly weak after 9 holes. I decided to withdraw. I have apologized to the first and second alternates for not withdrawing before the round began to give them a chance to compete; I sincerely thought I could play the entire tournament. I have never withdrawn mid-round before and hope to never have to again. Thank you everyone for your concerns! ‬
