Spencer Hyde To Fill In For Ken Quartuccio For US Street Nationals
World Series of Pro Mod Winner Spencer Hyde will take over driving duties for Winter Series Champion Ken Quartuccio for the remainder of the Winter series

Two of the most decorated drivers in the history of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service are joining forces for the final two events in 2026. Spencer Hyde, the 2023 World Series of Pro Mod winner, will be taking over driving duties for reigning U.S. Street Nationals winner and Winter Series points champion Ken Quartuccio.

Hyde will be piloting the same screw-blown ‘69 Camaro out of the Scott Tidwell Racing camp, tuned by Steve Petty, that Quartuccio won the championship with last year. The announcement was first revealed live on The Shake and Bake Show with “Stevie Fast” Jackson, Lyle Barnett, and Courtney Enders.

After a semifinal finish at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks, Quartuccio made the difficult decision to step back from driving duties at the upcoming U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission (January 23-25) and World Series of Pro Mod (February 26-28). Quartuccio runs East Side Auto Transport, a major car-hauling operation, and stated his immediate focus needs to be on multiple new business opportunities.
